Giving

Why give

Giving to God's work is part of our worship.

It costs about £2,000 each week to run activities and outreach at St Andrew's - and that's without essential major repairs e.g. to the roof and the boiler to keep us dry and warm!

Most of our income supports our work in our local community but there are also opportunities to give to overseas mission partners and each year 12 charities are selected as 'Charity of the month' from suggestions made by members of the congregation.

We also support the Norwich Foodbank - collections are on the fourth Sunday of the month.

Donations from the Harvest Thanksgiving service are taken to local hostels.

How to give

Take time to pray and consider how much to give in response to all that God has done for you.

Give regularly, if you are able to, by Bank Standing Order or the weekly envelope scheme, which helps us to take God's mission for this church forward in a properly planned and responsible way.

If you wish to make a donation to St Andrews Eaton, you can do this using the Norwich Diocese website. Please click on the link below and follow the instructions:

https://www.dioceseofnorwich.org/donate/

You will find a drop-down menu listing all the churches in the Diocese and our church appears as Eaton, St Andrews.  Please note that Gift Aid can be recovered on your donation if appropriate.

Your donation will benefit St Andrews by reducing the charge made by the Diocese for the Parish Share.  (This is the annual charge made to each parish to cover the cost of clergy etc).

With thanks in advance for your donation.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid will increase the value of all your gifts by 25%, if you are a UK taxpayer and have paid enough tax to cover all your charitable giving.

Contact

Please ask the church stewards or find more information about giving on the Welcome Desk. Robin Gurney, St Andrew's Planned Giving Secretary, will be glad to explain further and provide the necessary forms or envelopes.

'Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.'

(2 Corinthians 9: 7-8)
