Year of Celebration

Come and join in - a year to celebrate together

In 1318 the first known vicar of St Andrew's (Geoffrey de Boton) began his work. The 700th anniversary celebrations are under way!

2018 also marks the 25th anniversary of the New Church building.

Throughout the year there will be exhibitions, music, food and much more. This is a time for the whole Eaton community to join in.

Highlights for May, June and July

Every Thursday, 2.30–4.30pm ‘Celebration Café’

All are welcome to call in at the new ‘Celebration Café’. A great place to catch up with friends, to make new ones, or just to stop off before or after the school run.
We look forward to seeing you!

Sat & Sun 26–27 May - Eaton Knitters & Stitchers Exhibition

Another fascinating exhibition from this local creative group.

Saturday 9 June, 12-4pm - Summer Fête

Another occasion for the community to come together.

Stalls, food, games – something for everyone!

Organised jointly by St Andrew’s and Christ Church.

Sunday 17 June, 10am – Service of Celebration

Bishop Graham leads us as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of St Andrew’s New Church.

Please note the following event has been cancelled:

Saturday 23 June, 12-4pm – ‘Fun Day in Eaton Park’

Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 July – EVRA Scarecrow Competition – ‘Famous Teddies’

Get involved in our community’s annual extravaganza of fun-filled creativity!

For further details visit the Eaton Village Residents' Association website.

Sunday 22 July, 3-5pm – ‘Teddy Bears' Picnic’

As part of the EVRA Scarecrow weekend, we’re holding a picnic for all teddies (and their owners), and will watch with astonishment as teddies face the death-defying descent from the Church tower!

Please bring your own picnic and teddy and join in the fun!

30 July – 3 August (mornings) – Summer Holiday Club

Places are limited, so book as soon as you can for the ever-popular Holiday Club for children aged 5-11, taking place during the first week of the summer holidays. At St Andrew’s, but organised jointly with Christ Church – so all are welcome – from Eaton and beyond!

Keep checking the website and notice boards for more information.
