Services elsewhere: online and broadcast

In 2020, early in the first lockdown, the Church of England wrote about becoming 'a different sort of Church' reminding us that while worship in our churches is suspended, our joy in the resurrection is not to be silenced.

A number of Norfolk churches are live streaming their services; see the list on this page.

The Diocese of Norwich has produced a booklet suggesting links to places to find worship and prayer while at home, prayers written especially for this outbreak, prayers for children, and helpful Bible passages.

The BBC is continuing to broadcast Sunday Worship on Radio 4 and the Daily Service on LW and DAB.

Each day the Church of England publishes audio and text of the Prayer for the Day. It has also produced some prayers for you to use alone or with your family which you can also download, or print out to share with anyone who cannot access the internet.
