Local Community Groups

Eaton Knitters & Stitchers

This local community group, affiliated to the Norfolk Knitters and Stitchers, meets in St Andrew's Church Hall, alongside the 'Community Cafe', on the third Thursday of the month from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm (not in December). New members are always welcome: chat, drink coffee and knit, stitch (and crochet) for charity.

This lovely picture shows some of their work from St Andrew's Year of Celebration in 2018, before it was donated to the waiting charities.

Eaton Remembers

This booklet of articles about World War One and Eaton, by the late Roger Humber, was given out on 11th November 2018 at the Act of Remembrance at the Eaton War Memorial. Copies are available in St Andrew's and Christ Church and it has kindly been made available for downloading from the websites of both churches.

Eaton Choral Society

The Eaton Choral Society was originally formed by choir members at both Christ Church and St Andrew's Eaton to perform sacred works. The first concert was in 1980 and the first time a concert was performed with the title Eaton Parish Choir was in 1981.

Since that time, the choir has grown; it is now a non-auditioning choral society made up of members from within and outside of the parish.  The choir performs choral society repertoire twice a year with concerts in March and November.  The choir is accompanied by an orchestra made up of local musicians.

Please visit their Facebook page or contact the Conductor by email.

These concerts take place usually on Sunday afternoons, and run typically from September through to May.  They feature professional performers from a wide range of styles and disciplines, many of whom have national or international reputations, appealing to enthusiastic audiences who return again and again!
