We are delighted that you are thinking of having your child baptised (also known as a christening). A great place to start would be to come along on a Sunday morning, and speak to the Vicar or Curate after the service. Alternatively, please do get in touch by phone or email here.
Baptisms normally take place during the main 10am Sunday service but, if necessary, we can discuss other times and days.
Of course, baptism is not limited to babies! Older children and adults who have not been baptised, who wish to make the promises for themselves, should also contact the Vicar.
The Church of England website gives general information about the baptism of children and there is a leaflet containing more information about baptism at St Andrew's.
